TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
