What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
